Solubag is a Chilean entrepreneurship that has traveled around the world for one of its most innovative products: the plastic bag that dissolves in water.
Campaign seeks to position Chileans as agents of change. It highlights 12 innovations led by compatriots.
“Creating Future” is the slogan of our new strategy for the next 10 years.
Chile changes its image in the world by highlighting the talent of its people.
For many years Chile was presented to the world as a territory full of untamed, surreal landscapes, having natural and treacherous beauty. The towers of Paine, the Atacama Desert, and the moais of Easter Island. All these places became symbols of national identity. However, the advertising campaigns showed a country full of beautiful landscapes but deserted. A natural museum in the open sky. Without people.
This Wednesday, hours before the global commotion over the death of Diego Maradona, Foreign Minister Andrés Allamand, and the Executive Director of Imagen Chile, Constanza Cea, presented the new communication strategy by which our country will seek to show itself to the world during the next decade. Not only with the indisputable beauty of its geography, but also with the talent of its people and their daily contribution to building a better world.
“The country makes a series of contributions of great importance: it contributes to the care of Antarctica, it is home to 70% of the world’s astronomical observations, it has more than 40% of the maritime territory as Protected Areas, it provides state-of-the-art technology in energy matter renewables that will be key to Green Hydrogen, which is the fuel of the future and is part of the food security effort. Highlighting Chile’s trajectory, reaffirming its institutional capital and showing the contributions it makes to the international community contribute to the correct image of Chile and favors its foreign policy,” said Foreign Minister, Mr. Allamand.
Constanza Cea, Executive Director of Imagen de Chile, added that it was time to “move from landscape to people, from geography to innovation; from growth to sustainability and moving from what is received to what is contributed as a country. It was necessary to update and unify the central message with which we want to project Chile to the world. We Chileans are creating the future with our hands, with our ideas, with our vision.”
“Creating Future” is precisely the slogan of the inaugural campaign of this new country image strategy. In the videos that will be exhibited to the world, 12 innovations led by Chileans are highlighted, such as the innovative technology to dilute plastic bags in a glass of water, Notco’s venture, dedicated to healthy and responsible food from the famous NotMayo line. Or the Bosque Hundido initiative, which takes advantage of submerged trees to build sustainable furniture (see images).
